\"Z\"<\/a>Since many years, the advocate and painter Giuseppe Siniscalchi, creates amazing pictures full of intense messages and high concepts of peace, armony and depth, fundamental, expecially in our tortured age that we are living today. Influenced by Van Gogh, Japanese art and by the contemplation of the nature and the landscapes, this artist mixes all these themes in his artworks creating a very particular sensation in the people while they look to them. Here I have tried to choose his ten best paintings, as in a sort of \u201cgreatest hits\u201d like we can define it in musical selection, his most representative and powerful works, but to make a selection is always a difficult task and a hard mission. I write on this page my reviews and opinions about this works, as a poet, a writer and a big \u201cfan\u201d of art, movies and entertainment. At the end of this section my brief biography.<\/p>\n

MAIN THEMES OF THE WORKS: MOONLIGHT, NIGHT AND NATURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

A sense of peace, quietness and intensity comes out from the works of Giuseppe Siniscalchi and the moon and the night are very frequent and deeply immerged in the nature. On the sea the Moon shines mysterious and hypnotizing and it illuminates the waters, waking up in our minds many elements and important cultural references. From the poems of Novalis, one of the greatest german poets that dedicated to the night his best poems, to the music of Chopin full of sweet melancholy and immense natural contemplation, until the rock and the recent pop music like the Doors with their \u201cMoonlight Drive\u201d or the 80\u2019s classic \u201cMoonlight shadows\u201d sung by Mike Olfield. Moon and its female power is often present in many artworks of this painter and shines on the seaside and on the grass, on the rooftops of the houses with a light that enlights but never dominates the landscape giving more colour to it and exalting the art work in its beauty. Since the ancient times, moon,inspired the greek lyricists and the painters, as Van Gogh and the English naturalists as Constable or Turner and famous composers like Beethoven and Debussy. And Siniscalchi transports on his painting the attraction for the night and the moon in his armonious, intense and simple way so expressive and inspiring for all of us.<\/p>\n

A LONER IN FRONT OF THE NATURE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among the several paintings dedicated to the sun, the moon, the sunset in some of the painting of Siniscalchi appears a kind of permanent symbol. A loner child or adult, sat down and so tiny, message of modesty or loneliness, of quiet contemplation or sad isolation of the contemporary human being in front of the nature or without anybody else except himself. Like the solitary poet Giacomo Leopardi in front of the moon and his wandering pastor that contemplated the sky full of stars. Like a moderate among the lunatics , and the pace in the middle of a war. He brings back us to the primitive dimension of the space and the moon, of the sun and the sunset avoidin the desire to paint human beings and portraits so typical of artist as Schiele, Modigliani, Hayez or Andy Warhol that spent their lives to paint people. In his paintings of Siniscalchi there is a constant message of brotherhood and a great spirituality and they are suitable to all kinds of people even if there are a lot of religious, political and ideological themes, fundamental is the theme of the peace and Japan and Extreme orient philosophy, they are expressed in a delicate way, with intensity and sensitiveness respecting the other cultures. This is the force of this artist, to reperesent the world and the nature in an expressive and delicate way, characters that are never dominating but observers, as every real artist, of the reality and his dreams, that never put himself above anything but that appears central with modesty, sensitivity and delicateness, values that today seems almost disappeared and that the Frontback art puts in the first position. This painter never puts himself as a protagonist but creates his works with modesty and delicate feelings, values that are disappearing in this society and that the Frontbackism of Siniscalchi considers as its basic elements.<\/p>\n
