17/08/2018: Poetry ispired by Fronteversismo

Nicola Colonna, poet from Gravina in Apulia, opened a new poetic gallery visited by Giuseppe Siniscalchi, whose Fronteversismo (and particularly the painting “Woman’s Wisdom” exhibited at the Pomarici Santomasi Museum) has inspired the following poem:

Water and Moon
(A wonderful love story)

In my beloved jug
sincere and clear water
of mothers with ornate flowers
arsure d’ognun lit up
And up that evening protrudes
ethereal girl
to remain beautiful asks
Vanesia pearl
certainty of his chiaror desìa
And so long as the morning demands
to enlighten the earth in craving
from the astral evening
moon
he whispers gratefully
“Dimani in the evening
do not delay true essence
still in you I will be happy”

Nicola Colonna
